Luke GOODGION
Living with his wife, Mercedes, and dog, Luna, in McKinney, TX, Coach Luke has been dedicated to developing athletes since 2014, working with individuals, small groups, teams and more to maximize performance and long-term growth.
Over a decade of coaching across Colorado, Washington, South Carolina, and Texas, he has been involved with multiple state and national championship teams while training hundreds of athletes who have advanced to collegiate baseball and beyond.
A former professional player, Luke was selected in the 2012 MLB Draft by the Tampa Bay Rays and competed within their minor league system. He later continued his career internationally with the Shinano Grandserows in Japan’s Baseball Challenge League before a shoulder injury brought his playing career to a close.
"Coach Goodj" brings a high level of energy, knowledge, and passion to every athlete he works with. His approach is rooted in the long game and goes beyond skill development—focusing on preparation, discipline, and helping athletes become the best version of themselves through the game.
Coach Luke enjoys pickleball, traveling, board games, puzzles, reading, and spending time with his loved ones. Beyond coaching, he volunteers regularly with the Life.Church community in McKinney, sits on the board the Frisco YMCA, created and operates the ARM/R app, author of "The Village", and above all else, a faithful servant to Christ.
